The Books!
Brainwyrms (2023) by Alison Rumfitt
Tender Points (2015) by Amy Berkowitz
Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke and Other Misfortunes (2021) by Eric LaRocca
What is Not Yours is Not Yours (2015) by Helen Oyeyemi
Thick (2019) by Tressie McMillan Cottom
Parable of the Sower (1993) by Octavia E. Butler
Jane: A Murder (2005) by Maggie Nelson
Brainwyrms (2023) by Alison Rumfitt
(supernatural body horror / queer fiction)
Let me start by saying if the COVER of this book disturbs you.... You don't even wanna know what's inside.
Brainwyrms is about worms, and parasites, but it's moreso about the infectious nature of trauma, and political terrorism. More transgender main characters falling in love and falling into situations that are beyond fucked up!
