2023 BOOK RANKING
I started reading books again last year :) Here's how I feel about them, and my top 4 picks!
I read a lot of good books last year, and I would like to share them with you! I’ve written long-form reviews of each of these books on a private page, but I don’t feel like shortening them to fit here. Feel free to message me or leave a comment if you’d like to know more about one book in particular.
I only ranked these books as low as C, because honestly, when a book was bad enough, I just stopped reading it. These are only the books that I cared enough to finish. It doesn’t feel right to number them like this, because my feelings about these books are complicated, but, I don’t have energy to give nuance right now. So numbers it is!

I’m pretty happy with the variety I had last year. This year (2024) I’m diving into more nonfiction, memoirs, and horror. AND MORE APOCALYPSE FICTION! It feeds me. I don’t know why. Right now, I’m starting with Octavia Butler and Tressie McMillan-Cottom. See you next year!
